These carbon fibre membranes are much more sensitive than membranes made of plastic or metal. The engine throttle response is improved and achieves a better acceleration. However the main advantage through the use of carbon fibre membranes is the lower risk of major engine damage by petals which fail during operation.

Membranes are wearing parts and should be regularly checked and replaced if there are signs of wear.
